I began work on my Knot Quilt at a Haystack Mountain School of Crafts residency during the pandemic, and used an invitation to participate in a 2022 exhibition at the Iowa Quilt Museum (curated by Joe Cunningham) as a catalyst for finishing it. Artist Carson Converse executed the exquisite machine-quilting.
