Renowned architect Phillip Johnson's famous Glass House was his home and is now a National Trust Historic Site, located in New Canaan CT. In 2008 I was invited to participate in their Glass House Commissions program. Artists and designers were asked to create limited-edition works inspired by a visit to the site, and the sale of the works helped support the Trust's mission of preserving modern architecture, landscape, and art.

The Color Study quilt is inspired by the library shelves in the Guest House, the architectural opposite of the Glass House. Also see the Glass House Quilt.
